  • Usage Data: Timestamps, queries processed, search filters, and API call logs, which help us measure processing speeds (such as our 4m 12s book scan speed) and maintain system reliability.
  • Device Information: IP address, browser type, operating system, and referral headers collected automatically via cookies or similar logging tools.

2. How We Use Your Information

We process your information to fulfill our service agreements, comply with regulations, and support underwriter workflows. Specifically, we use it to:

  • Generate class classification alerts, premium delta audits, and risk snapshots;
  • Provide cited sources (like OSHA inspections or FMCSA records) linked directly in the workbench;
  • Authenticate users via single sign-on (SSO) and maintain secure audit logs;
  • Provide customer support and respond to requests.

We will never sell your personal information or underwriting inputs to third parties, nor do we share them with other carriers for competitive purposes.

3. How We Share Information

We do not share your proprietary User Data or personal details except in the following limited circumstances:

  • With Third-Party Data Partners: To retrieve classification details or verify records (e.g., verifying OSHA, DOT, or state corporation filings), we query authorized databases using the business identifiers you provide. These queries are encrypted and bound by strict confidentiality terms.
  • With Secure Subprocessors: We use cloud infrastructure providers (like AWS) to host and process data. All subprocessors are vetted and SOC 2 certified.
  • For Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required to do so by law, subpoena, or to protect the safety and security of our platform and users.

4. Data Security and SOC 2

We maintain a comprehensive security program designed to protect your data. Key measures include:

  • Encryption: All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3 and at rest using AES-256.
  • SOC 2 Compliance: Our systems and controls are audited annually by independent firms to verify SOC 2 Type II compliance.
  • Access Control: Underwriter notes and query histories are private by default and access is strictly restricted to authorized members of your team based on roles you define.

We retain your account and usage data only as long as necessary to provide the Services, fulfill contract obligations, or comply with legal requirements. If you terminate your subscription, we will delete or anonymize your data in accordance with our contract terms and standard retention schedules.
